Elderberry Warrior Tea is immune & cold defense from our Virginia farm-based apothecary. A powerful first-line immune blend. Dried elderberry and elderflower work synergistically with echinacea root, rosehips, ginger, thyme, and peppermint. Your go-to at the first sign of a cold or flu.
What Is Elderberry Warrior Tea?
Elderberry Warrior Tea is a loose leaf herbal tea built on dried elderberry — immune & cold defense, blended and packed at our Virginia farm-based apothecary. There is no tea leaf in it and no caffeine; every ingredient in the tin is a whole botanical you can see. Because dried elderberries are dense, this tea is simmered rather than steeped — ten to fifteen minutes at a gentle simmer is what opens the berry up and gives you the full color, body and flavor it is capable of.
Meet Our Elderberry Warrior Tea
A powerful first-line immune blend. Dried elderberry and elderflower work synergistically with echinacea root, rosehips, ginger, thyme, and peppermint. Your go-to at the first sign of a cold or flu.
Why We Simmer Elderberry
Elderberry is not a steeping herb. The dried berries are dense, and a few minutes in hot water barely touches them — you get color without much else. A true simmer of ten to fifteen minutes pulls the berry open and gives you the deep, tart, full-bodied cup elderberry is known for. It is the single most important thing you can do with this tea, and it is why the instruction appears on the front of the tin rather than buried on the back.
Immune & Cold Defense: Deep and berry-forward with a savory herbal middle from the thyme, a warming ginger lift, and a clean peppermint finish. The cup brews a rich garnet-purple. It takes honey beautifully and is just as good with a squeeze of lemon.
Elderberry Warrior Tea Ingredients
Every ingredient in our Elderberry Warrior Tea is there for a reason. Here is the full list, exactly as it appears on the label:
- Elderberry (Sambucus nigra fruit) – The heart of the blend — deep, tart, anthocyanin-rich berries.
- Elderflower (Sambucus nigra flos) – Delicate and floral, traditionally paired with the berry.
- Rosehips (Rosa canina) – Bright and tangy, a classic source of vitamin C.
- Echinacea Root (Echinacea purpurea) – The traditional first-sign-of-a-cold botanical.
- Ginger Root (Zingiber officinale) – Warming and gently spicy.
- Thyme (Thymus vulgaris) – Savory and herbaceous, long used in cold-season teas.
- Peppermint (Mentha x piperita) – A cooling, clean finish.

Whole Botanicals, Nothing Ground Down
Warrior Tea is loose leaf on purpose. You can see the elderberries, the elderflower, the rosehips and the cut echinacea root in the tin — nothing is powdered, dusted or hidden in a bag. It brews a little slower and it is worth it.
