Elderberry Nocturne Tincture is sleep & nervous system tincture from our Virginia farm-based apothecary. A calming nervine tincture for sleep onset and nervous tension. Elderberry antioxidants paired with valerian, passion flower, lemon balm, and California Poppy. Deeper and faster-acting than an herbal tea. Note: California Poppy is NOT opium poppy — it is legal in all US states.
What Is Elderberry Nocturne Tincture?
Elderberry Nocturne Tincture is a concentrated alcohol extraction of elderberry and supporting botanicals, made in small batches at our Virginia farm-based apothecary and bottled in 2 fl oz amber glass with a graduated dropper. A tincture gives you the botanicals in a measured dose you can take in water, juice or tea in under a minute — no brewing, no simmering and no straining. The alcohol both extracts the constituents and preserves them, which is why a sealed bottle keeps for about two years.

About the California Poppy
California poppy is Eschscholzia californica — a mild nervine that has been used in western herbalism for well over a century. It is not opium poppy, it contains no opiates, and it is legal in all fifty states. We say so plainly on the label because the name causes confusion and it should not.
Sleep & Nervous System Tincture: Earthy and bitter — valerian is an assertive root and it leads. Elderberry softens it and lemon balm lifts the finish. Best taken in warm water or a cup of chamomile rather than neat.
Elderberry Nocturne Tincture Ingredients
Every ingredient in our Elderberry Nocturne Tincture is there for a reason. Here is the full list, exactly as it appears on the label:

Why We Made It Stronger Than the Tea
Our Night Tea is a ritual — you brew it, you sit with it, and it takes the better part of an hour. Some nights there is no time for that. Nocturne gives you the same botanical family in a measured dropper dose you can take in warm water in under a minute.
