Ours is made with organic single-origin black tea, organic bergamot oil and organic vanilla bean. It is lovely on its own, with a touch of honey, or as a homemade London Fog.

What Is Earl Grey Tea?
Earl Grey is black tea flavored with bergamot, a fragrant citrus fruit (Citrus bergamia) grown mainly in southern Italy. The oil from its peel gives Earl Grey its distinctive bright, floral-citrus aroma. The tea takes its name from Charles Grey, the 2nd Earl Grey and British Prime Minister in the 1830s, and it has been one of the world's most popular flavored teas ever since.
Earl Grey Creme (also called Earl Grey Vanilla or Cream Earl Grey) adds vanilla to the classic blend. The vanilla softens the sharper edges of the bergamot and gives the cup a round, creamy sweetness, even without milk.
Meet Our Earl Grey Creme
Open the bag and you get bergamot first, bright and citrusy, then warm vanilla underneath. Brewed, it pours a deep amber with a fragrant, almost dessert-like aroma. The flavor is a smooth black tea base with lively citrus notes on top and a creamy vanilla finish. It is aromatic without being perfumey, and it takes milk beautifully. Packed to order in 1 oz and 4 oz sizes.
How To Brew Earl Grey Creme
Hot: heat water to just below boiling. Use 1 to 2 teaspoons per 8 oz and steep 5 to 7 minutes for a full-flavored cup, or 3 to 4 minutes if you prefer it lighter. Strain and enjoy plain or with a touch of honey.
London Fog: brew a strong cup (2 teaspoons in 6 oz of water for 5 minutes), strain, then top with 4 oz of hot frothed milk and a little vanilla syrup or honey. Earl Grey Creme already has vanilla, so you need less syrup than usual.
Iced: cold brew 2 tablespoons in 32 oz of cold water in the fridge for 8 hours, then strain. Serve over ice with a splash of milk or a slice of lemon.
Does Earl Grey Have Caffeine?
Yes. Earl Grey is a black tea, so it contains caffeine, roughly 40–70 mg in an 8 oz cup, about half of a similar cup of brewed coffee. The bergamot and vanilla add no caffeine. A shorter steep gives a gentler cup. If you want a creamy, vanilla-scented cup with no caffeine at all, try one of our caffeine-free herbal teas.
