What Is Ayurvedic Tea?

Ayurveda is a traditional system of wellbeing that originated in India thousands of years ago. It places great weight on balance, including the balance of cooling and warming foods and herbs, and herbal teas are a long-standing part of daily Ayurvedic routines.

Our Ayurvedic blend pairs cooling mint, rose and hibiscus with warming ginger for a cup that feels both refreshing and grounding. It contains no tea leaves, so it is naturally caffeine-free.

Meet Our Ayurvedic Blend

Open the bag and the mint comes first, followed by rose and the gentle spice of ginger, with flecks of deep red hibiscus through the blend. Steeped, it brews a rosy-red cup that is mint-forward and refreshing, with a soft floral bouquet of rose and hibiscus and a warm, gently spicy ginger finish. Packed to order in 1 oz and 4 oz sizes.

How To Brew It

Hot: use 1 to 2 teaspoons per 8 oz of water just below boiling and steep 5 to 7 minutes, then strain. Enjoy plain or with a touch of honey.

Iced: the hibiscus and mint make this an excellent iced tea. Brew double-strength, cool, and pour over ice.

Is It Caffeine-Free?

Yes. Mint, rose, hibiscus and ginger are all herbs, so the blend is naturally caffeine-free. For more, browse our herbal teas.
